Shonn's Page 2005

Shonn is now mobile, and he is everywhere.  We didn't realize that a baby could crawl that fast!  Sometime around the 25th of August, he started to pull himself to a standing position on a regular basis.  Now he can be found pulling himself up on Mom, Dad, couch, TV, computer, and just about anything he can reach.  Shonn in Digital Video Volume 3 has been completed, but remains in rough cut format, and should be finished soon.  This volume details his first birthday party.  - 13 September 2005

2  - Shonn's vitals at 9 months of age (February 2005):

                                Weight:  20.31 lbs (50th percentile)

                                Length:  28.44 inches (50th percentile)

                                Head Circumference:  17.91 inches (50th percentile)

3 - Shonn suffered from his first severe cold in March of 2005.  He ran a fever of 99.5 degrees for almost 4 days.

4 - Shonn's vitals at 12 months of age (May 2005) - Happy Birthday!!

                                Weight:  22 lbs (50th percentile)

                                Length:  30 inches (50th percentile)

                                Head Circumference:  18.5 inches (50th percentile)

5- Mom says Shonn loves the Oscar Meyer bologna song.  You can see the words here.

6 - Shonn started "Army Crawling" on the 14th of May

7 - Shonn began physical therapy on 31 May.

8 - Shonn took 3 crawling steps on 29 June.

9 - He took 7 crawling steps on 2 July.

10- On 3 July, Shonn crawled all the way across the living room!  Way to go!

11- Shonn went to his first Killough Reunion on 23 July.

12 - Shonn's vitals at 15 months of age (August 2005).

                                Weight:  23.17 lbs (25th percentile)

                                Length:  31.3 inches (50th percentile)

                                Head Circumference:  18.5 inches (50th percentile)

13 - On 25 August, Shonn crawled all the way up the stairs!  Time to get a gate for safety!

14 - On 10 September Shonn had his first boo boo.  The poor little guy fell off the steps in front of the house while reaching for daddy.  He ended up with a slight bruise on his forehead, and two very frazzled parents!  He cried a little, but bounced back within 10 minutes. Just a chillin' away!	Shonn is trying out for Hee Haw.	Do I get the part?	Mmmm, sippy cup.	This is MY sippy cup, and you CAN'T have it!
I still don't know what to do with it...	Sit sippy cup, sit. Good dog!	Juice, get out of here. I have toast now!	Mmm, must smell toast...	You CAN't have my toast!
I have toast. But what is toast?	A juice. If I only knew how to drink from a sippy cup..	Help?	I think I figured it out...	...maybe not.
What do you have there?	Nothing like Mom's finger when you are hungry.	And what do YOU want?	You must FOCUS!	Good.
I said FOCUS!	Now if you would have listend to me in the first place....	Shonn takes a break. It's hard trying to crawl!	No, really it is hard to try and crawl.	Diet Coke, is a fun toy.
It make a great chew toy.....	Hmmm, how does this work?	What? You want me to put it where?	Nah, it looks better here.	Heh, heh, heh! I am about to dine on fine food.
It's Mom's birthday cake! Can I have some?	Ummm, Dad, what exactly are you taking pictures of?	It's my birthday, it's my birthday. Uh, uh.	Hmm, I like this gift from the neighboors.	What do I have here?
Mom, Dad, what else do you got for me?	What do you mean that's it?	Where did my cake go? It was here a second ago...	Ah well, the plate will do...	Mom Dad, my plate is empty.
No, really, guys its empty.	I guess the plate will have to do..	Ok, I'm done with the plate.	Ok, if you insist. I will play with the plate some more.	Whewww! Eating cake is tough work.
